In my junior year of college, I studied at KEA Kobenhavn’s School of Design and Technology. This was my first time living abroad, and the most challenging and exciting time. KEA’s students are not all Danish, and many come from around the world. The education style here was much different than my experience in the states, and focused on emulating a true office environment. To achieve this, professors applied lessons from the curriculum to three client projects. They were primarily Danish companies: Harboe, Sagaz and VEGA. You can read the full deets of the KEA experience in this synopsis.
Harboe is a Danish soft drink company that was looking for strategies to launch their product, Bear Beer, into the Chinese market. This was my first client project at KEA, where I worked with a team of seven to create an insight report and brand manual for a marketing plan. Insight | Brand Manual
Sagaz is a publishing company who creates hotel magazines and were looking for a creative solution to allow magazine content on the go. My peers and I got together to form a creative agency, which we’ve called ’42’. After visually branding and forming an identity of our creative team, we took on Sagaz as our client and developed a concept for a digital magazine. Insight | Solution
VEGA is Kobenhavn’s largest music venue. The goal was to receive the client’s pitch and create a digital solution to fit their needs — in 24 hours. We worked overnight to develop a digital solution to promote up-coming shows. The Pitch | About VEGA
